CMC academy a leading Systems Engineering and Integration provider in India and a subsidiary of Tata Consultancy Services Limited today launched an authorized training centre in Mohali, Punjab, as a part of its initiative to make large number of youth employable by providing Job enabled training.

Arun Varma, CMC’s Global Business Head for Education & Training said that “we are expanding capacity across the country to address the growing demand for vocationally skilled youth by the industry. He said that CMC academy is Asia’s largest software company, operating out of 20 plus offices globally and 180 service locations in the country. It employs over 10,000 people worldwide and has a wholly owned subsidiary in the USA called CMC Americas, Inc.

He said that CMC Academy, IT education arm of CMC Limited today has chosen Dezign Suite as the franchise partner in Mohali. Vishal Kataria of Dezign Suite, franchisee of CMC said, “the tricity – Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula, has a growing IT and services sector and is an education and training hub attracting students from the northern region. CMC Academy will enable graduates and students pursuing graduation in any field to get them employable for IT Jobs.”

The CMC Academy, Mohali, will offer flagship programmes like CMC GRAD in Software Engineering and IT Infrastructure Management; CMC EDGE, Advance Diploma for Engineering Graduates; and a host of entry-level and high-end short term course for professionals; DBF – Diploma in Banking & Finance for graduates and several other programmes for graduates, as well as students in high school. CMC’s that provides placement assistance on select programmes offers “CMC Communication EDGE” programme for communication and presentation, interviews skill and overall personality development to help prepare students for the industry.
