Located in all major Canadian malls, the 165-unit chain has successfully expanded to China, the United Arab Emirates, Macau, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Panama with a total of 45 international units.<\/p>\n New York Fries is thrilled to announce that its first franchise will open in New Delhi<\/a><\/strong>, India this summer.<\/p>\n This is part of a multi-franchise deal with Naveen and Anita Vasisht, Shailendar Kaushik and Sameer Sharma, who plan to open 35 restaurants <\/a><\/strong>in the next five years across northern India.<\/p>\n \u201cWe believe in this brand and think New York Fries will be a fantastic addition to India,\u201d says Naveen Vasisht. \u201cThe Indian market is primed for a premium French fry. The population already loves potatoes, where 77 per cent of meals contain a potato in some form.
