Franchise News India<\/a><\/strong>,Franchise In India<\/a><\/strong>,Senco Gold<\/strong>, a Kolkata<\/a><\/strong> based gold jewellery<\/a><\/strong> retail<\/a><\/strong> and export entity, plans to expand the number of its stores by 25, by 2016-17, and with this increase its revenues by around 60 percent to Rs 2,000 crore in the next three years, reports say.<\/p>\n

The company is considering expansion mainly in western and northern region of India<\/a><\/strong>. It plans to invest Rs. 250 crore, is store expansion<\/a><\/strong>, which will include company-owned and franchise<\/a><\/strong> stores. At present, of its 52 stores, 22 are company-owned and the remaining are franchise based.<\/p>\n

In the years ahead, the company is also considering expanding its export turnover, and launching another manufacturing unit, reports add.<\/p>\n

Senco Gold export operations covers countries like USA, UK, Singapore and Middle East. It has a manufacturing unit in SEZ Manikanchan that employs more than 300 karigars and creates 10000 pieces of jewellery every year.
