Franchise News Kerala<\/a><\/strong> : Thomas Cook (India) Ltd<\/strong>. has strengthened its presence in Thiruvanthapuram, with the launch of a branch outlet at Kazhakootam, and the relocation of its flagship retail<\/a> <\/strong>branch to a prime hub on M. G. Road. With this new outlet, Thomas Cook (India) now has 18 consumer access centres\u2014ten owned branches, three Gold Circle Partner (franchise<\/a><\/strong>) outlets, and five airport counters (Thiruvanthapuram and Kochi international airports), as per a release. Biju Prabhakar IAS, District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram, inaugurated the new outlet at Kazhakootam.<\/p>\n

Thomas Cook (India) has chosen Kerala<\/a><\/strong> as a key driver of its two-pronged strategic plan. The first is Distribution and Reach–expansion in metros\/non-metros and Tier II and III markets of Kerala via a mix of owned and franchisee outlets so as to enable consumer access via its \u2018shop-in-shop\u2019 model (e.g. its LuLu Mall outlet in Kochi). The second part of the plan is product-service portfolio\u2014remittances (both inward and outward), its \u2018Send Money Abroad\u2019 covering over 120 countries, and Multi-currency Borderless Prepaid Card in partnership with MasterCard.<\/p>\n

The new Thomas Cook store at Kazhakootam in Thiruvanthapuram is centrally located and will offer a range of foreign exchange and holiday products and services (domestic and international packages, individual and group tours), cruises, visa and insurance.<\/p>\n
