Mercado is the immediate past-president of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and the current co-chair of the Corporate Board of Governors for 2012&ndash;2013. In addition, she is the co-founder of the New York City Chapter of NAHREP and a licensed REALTOR.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to her role with Century 21 Real Estate LLC, Mercado was the education and diversity manager for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/2035?trk=pro_other_cmpy#_blank\">Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage<\/a> in Long Island,where she was responsible for developing and implementing strategic roll-out plans, training for both staff and agents, and recruiting and retaining newly licensed and experienced real estate sales professionals.<\/p>\n<p>Carmen Mercado brings demonstrated leadership to this important position, said Rick Davidson, president and chief executive officer, Century 21 Real Estate LLC. &ldquo;I am confident she will help us strengthen our team to continue positioning the CENTURY 21&reg;brand for smart, strategic, global growth.<\/p>\n<p>Mercado received her real estate license in 2002, her associate brokers license in 2004, and became a Department of State certified real estate instructor in 2009.
