Forever mark, the diamond—<\/p>\n

Brand from De Beers Group, is mulling over to set up 130-140 retail outlets in India by 2 013-end, Sachin Jain, Managing Director, Forever mark India, said recently. \u201cWe intend to op en 130-140 doors (retail outlets) by 2 013 end, \u201che said. \u201cWe are a very young brand and are only one year old in Indian market.
\nOur intention is to ensure that right diamond goes to the right consumer, \u201che added. At present, De Beers, which is present in 13 cities across the country, has partnerships with 85 retailers. A change being seen in Indian consumer was that they were keen to have daily ware diamonds,
\nJain said.
\nDe Beer also has announced its launch in Kerala by associating with Sunny Diamonds, known for its
\nUnique blend of traditional and contemporary designs, and unveiling a new collection. De Beers controls 40 per cent of market share globally. In Kerala, the g group will be looking for one or two more partnerships, Jain said. The jewellery business in India is worth around Rs. 1.20 lakh crore with diamond business accounting for 25 per cent business. In Bangalore, where De Beers and Central government were undertaking joint exploration of diamond since the past 9-10 years, there could b e some production in the next 4-5 years, Jain said.<\/p>\n
