\"\"<\/a>Godrej Properties, the real estate development arm of the Godrej group, has la\u00acunched its residential project, Godrej E-City, at Electronic City, phase-1, in Bengaluru. The company has taken up the count of its residential projects to five in the city.
\n\u201cBengaluru is an im\u00acportant market for us and the project is coming up through a partnership model, developed by Universal Builders and with Godrej Properties as a development ma\u00acnager,\u201d Pirojsha Godrej, managing director and CEO at Godrej Pr\u00acoperties stated.<\/p>\n

the project is divided in three phases and is spread across 15 acres of land. The first phase will consist of eight, five-storey buildings with about 280 homes across 3.6 lakh sq ft. \u201cWe are constructing two, 2.5 and three-BHK apartments, ranging from 964 sq ft to 1,625 sq ft, with a starting price of about Rs 37 lakh,\u201d Godrej said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe entire project will comprise of 800 apartments across one million sq ft of real estate,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The first phase is set to be completed in about three years.<\/p>\n

Godrej sees the strategic location and reasonable pricing key to attract demand from IT and ITeS pro\u00acfessionals working in companies located in the area. \u201cBengaluru is one of the fastest growing real estate markets in India and we see a huge demand for such properties,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Godrej E-City boasts of various amenities such as a modern clubhouse, a well-equipped gymnasium, swimming pools, a health club, a conference hall, and a convenience store. It also claims to provide sports facilities such as an indoor squash court, a badminton court, a children play area and a jogging track besides indoor game facilities like table tennis and snooker.<\/p>\n

Features like electric car charging facility, rainwater harvesting, solar heating, usage of hydrogel for water conservation, low VOC paints and water-efficient fixtures will be incorporated in the project design. Also, 70 per cent of the project will be covered in landscaped gardens and open spaces, according to Godrej.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe project will use eco-friendly material and integrate environment-sensitive passive architectural sol\u00acutions to minimize the carbon em\u00acission associated with the deve\u00aclopment,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
