Chalkboard kitchen & cafe was established in 2013 by first time entrepreneurs who felt there was a void in the cafe space which actually combined good quality “homely & fresh” food with fun for all customers... Yes fun!!!

Our foray into the food business began as a franchisee and seeing gaps in support to a franchisee we decided to put our decades of experience and passion for food to start our own venture chalkboard kitchen & cafe.

Chalkboard kitchen & cafe’s theme of having the menu on chalkboards (slate) represents an experimental attitude or open-minded approach to the way we design our menu. We have always been open to suggestions of customers and change/rotate our menu depending on the time of day /day of the week/occassions/customers reciepies.

Today chalkboard kitchen & cafe located in South central Kolkata in a business,residential & college hub is the trendiest and only karoke cafe in Kolkata and the “go-to” place to grab a quick snack,hearty meal or just to unwind with colleagues or college buddies or throw a party to celebrate an occasion.
